Inconel 601 (UNS N06601) for high-temperature oxidation resistance, bar, sheet, plate, pipe and fittings.
Inconel 601 (UNS N06601) is a nickel-chromium alloy with 1.0–1.7% aluminium that forms a tightly adherent oxide skin, giving outstanding resistance to oxidation and cyclic scaling up to 1200 °C. It also resists carburisation and nitriding, which is why it dominates radiant tubes, muffles, thermal-reactor internals and furnace retorts.
