What is the difference between SS 304 and SS 316?

SS 304 is the standard 18/8 austenitic stainless steel with 18% chromium and 8% nickel. SS 316 adds 2–3% molybdenum, which dramatically improves pitting and crevice-corrosion resistance in chloride-rich and marine environments. For seawater, coastal atmospheres, brine or acidic media, 316 (or 316L) is the correct choice.
Do you provide EN 10204 3.1 or 3.2 mill test certificates?

Yes. Every stainless steel dispatch is backed by an EN 10204 3.1 mill test certificate as standard. 3.2 certification with third-party inspection (Lloyds, DNV, BV, TUV, IRS, IBR) is available on request for project consignments.
What is the minimum order quantity for stainless steel from Steelco?
