Inconel 718 (UNS N07718) is a precipitation-hardening nickel-chromium superalloy strengthened by niobium, titanium and aluminium. Solution treated and aged, it reaches 1275 MPa tensile and 1030 MPa yield strength while retaining creep and rupture strength to about 700 °C, making it the standard for gas-turbine discs, downhole tools and high-pressure fasteners.
