Copper beryllium C17300 has the same 1.80–2.00% beryllium content as C17200 with a controlled lead addition of 0.20–0.60% for free machining. Strength after age hardening is essentially identical to C17200, so it is chosen where high volumes of turned parts — bushings, valve seats, connector pins — must be produced economically.
