Hastelloy C22 (N06022) in plate, sheet, bar and pipe, superior pitting and crevice corrosion resistance.
Hastelloy C22 (UNS N06022) carries more chromium (20–22.5%) than C276, giving it better performance in strongly oxidising media such as ferric and cupric chlorides, nitric acid mixtures and wet chlorine, while retaining the molybdenum content needed for reducing acids. It offers outstanding resistance to pitting, crevice corrosion and weld-heat-affected-zone attack.
