Hastelloy B3 (N10675), improved thermal stability over B2, for severe hydrochloric and sulphuric service.
Hastelloy B3 (UNS N10675) keeps the hydrochloric-acid resistance of B2 while adding far greater thermal stability, resisting the intermetallic precipitation that embrittles B2 during welding and hot forming. It suits reducing acid service where fabrication, stress relief or intermittent high-temperature exposure is unavoidable.
