ERNiCrMo-4 is the matching filler for Hastelloy C276, with about 16% chromium, 16% molybdenum and 4% tungsten. It gives the weld the same resistance as the base metal to hot acids, chlorides and wet chlorine. It is used in chemical plants and pollution-control equipment, and for overlaying steel.
